Wild Harbour Fish Company – Full Branding, Website & Marketing
Highest Quality Seasonal, Sustainable & Traceable Seafood, From The Local Day Boat Fishermen Of Cornwall
We provide wild-caught, fresh, and sustainable seafood, which contributes to a brighter future for local fishermen and the environment. For the past decade, we’ve advocated for small-scale, traditional local ‘in-shore’ day boats that put sustainability at the forefront of all they do, ensuring higher quality and wonderful tasting seafood.
We are proud to supply incredible fish and shellfish to Michelin-starred restaurants and chefs throughout the hospitality industry, that share a passion for the best quality, sustainably-caught Cornish seafood.
Working with Alice Media
Founder of Wild Harbour Fish Company, Abi Taylor and his team started working with Alice Media in May 2021. Following a meeting with Abi to discuss her requirements, we put together a retained marketing package which included: Branding, Website Design and Full Service Marketing.
There was a definite requirement for a new site from the moment we started working with Wild Harbour. The old site was built using HTML on its own server, and was therefore very tricky to make any amends. It was not built with SEO in mind, so many elements, such as meta data, SEO titles, and general content was not optimised.
When reworking the design, we had to be very aware of the target audience and who would be visiting the website most. In this case, it’s likely to be chefs who are mindful about sustainable fishing and seafood.
With this in mind, we needed a clean easy to navigate design that allowed people to find the pages they needed quickly, with little distractions. At the end of the day, the goal is to get as many conversions as possible through phone calls and/or contact forms.
As Abi is a female in business, we really wanted to make this shine by creating a famine brand in a very male dominated industry.
We started the Wild Harbour WordPress site in late May 2021 and the site went live early October 2021, there were a few elements that we were working on alongside the website that we had to complete before going live, such as integrations and a new branded print items, so everything tied in together.
